Q:What is the meaning of fil d'ecosse?
A:
It's a long staple Egyptian cotton of
great quality which is made by joining two extra fine, but
resistent solid yarns. the heating treatment and mercerization
procedure removes the impurities and avoids the forming of
Fuzzy hair which gives the yarn it's special soft shine.
Although
The Fil D'Ecosse may be mixed with other inferior yarns, on
the other hand our socks are made of only 100% Fil D'Ecosse.
